Schematic, placement, routing

From netlist to finished board

Inductive draws the schematic, places every footprint, and autoroutes the PCB, then checks its own work against your design rules.

Built on KiCad

A fork of KiCad, the tool engineers already trust

Inductive is not a new EDA package you have to learn. It is KiCad with an agent working inside it, so everything you know still applies and everything you make stays portable.

FIG 01

The editor you already know

Same schematic and PCB editors, same keyboard shortcuts, same panels. If you have used KiCad, there is nothing new to learn.

FIG 02

Real KiCad files

Native .kicad_sch and .kicad_pcb projects. Open them in stock KiCad any time. Your symbol and footprint libraries come with you.

FIG 03

Open source underneath

We build on a mature, community-proven EDA tool instead of a black box. No new file format, no lock-in, nothing to migrate off.

Frequently asked questions

A complete KiCad project: schematic, PCB layout, and a manufacturing package with Gerbers, drill files, a bill of materials, and pick-and-place data. Everything opens in KiCad, so nothing is locked into our format.

Yes. Inductive is built on KiCad, so you get the schematic and PCB editors engineers already use, with an agent working inside them. Your shortcuts, symbol libraries, and footprint libraries carry over, and every project stays a normal KiCad project you can open in stock KiCad.

No. Describe what you want to build in plain language and Inductive handles part selection, schematic capture, placement, and routing. If you are an engineer, you can open any file and change every detail. The agent works alongside you rather than around you.

Inductive searches live supplier catalogs for parts that meet your requirements and are actually in stock, then pulls verified symbols and footprints. Every choice comes with the reasoning and the datasheet, so you can approve or swap it.

Inductive runs design rule checks against your constraints as it works, and reports violations instead of hiding them. Power, ground, and high-speed nets get routed with the right widths and clearances, and you can review or reroute anything by hand.

Sensor nodes, motor controllers, battery-powered devices, breakouts, and other mixed-signal boards from 2 to 6 layers. Very high-speed digital, RF front ends, and high-voltage power stages still need an engineer in the loop.

Your projects are yours. We do not train on your designs, and you can delete a project and its history at any time.
